Tags

Tags categorize groups of cryptocurrencies into themes such as DeFi coins, Stablecoins, and Meme Coins. Each tag provides insights into the number of coins it encompasses, along with market-specific statistics like volume and market capitalization.

The tags can be used to filter coins in the coins endpoint (look for tags in the query parameter table). We use tags ourselves on our category pages on coinranking.com.
